At Snaffle & Mane, we’re all about giving you the freshest blooms. But once your flowers are in your hands, there are a few simple steps to help them stay vibrant and beautiful for as long as possible. Following these tips is key to making sure your flowers last their longest—trust us, it’s worth it!
Bouquet care:
Your flowers have been designed fresh and are ready to enjoy. A little care will help them stay beautiful for as long as possible.
REMOVE THE WRAP
If your bouquet arrived with a hydration wrap around the stems, remove it before placing your flowers in a vase. The wrap is designed to keep your blooms hydrated while travelling—it isn't meant to be their permanent home.
FRESH CUT + FRESH WATER
Give the stems a fresh cut before placing them in a clean vase filled with cool, fresh water.
KEEP IT CLEAN
Change the water every couple of days and give the vase a quick rinse while you're at it. Remove any leaves or foliage that sit below the waterline.
FIND A HAPPY SPOT
Keep your flowers away from direct sunlight, heat sources and cold drafts. And don't park them beside the fruit bowl! Ripening fruit releases ethylene gas, which can cause flowers to age and fade more quickly. A cool spot away from fruit will help your blooms last longer.
A LITTLE TIDY-UP
Flowers naturally have different vase lives. As individual blooms begin to fade, simply remove them so the rest of your bouquet can keep doing its thing.
Enjoy your flowers. ♡
Vase Arrangement Care:
We're proud to be a foam-free floral shop. Traditional floral foam isn't kind to the environment, so our arrangements are designed using reusable floral mechanics—including floral chicken wire.
JUST ADD WATER
Your arrangement is designed right in its vessel, so there's no need to take it apart. Check the water level daily and gently top it up with fresh, cool water. Flowers are thirsty!
A QUICK HEADS-UP
There's floral chicken wire hiding beneath those beautiful blooms. It does its job wonderfully, but there may be sharp edges tucked inside the arrangement. Please don't reach into or handle the mechanics.
KEEP IT COOL
Place your arrangement away from direct sunlight, heat sources and cold drafts—and give the fruit bowl some space. Ripening fruit releases ethylene gas, which can cause flowers to age more quickly.
LET IT EVOLVE
Not every flower lasts the same amount of time. Remove individual blooms as they fade and let the arrangement naturally change over the days that follow.
Beautiful flowers, thoughtful mechanics and a little less waste. ♡
By following these simple steps, your flowers will stay bright, beautiful, and fresh! Thanks for choosing Snaffle & Mane—we can’t wait for you to enjoy your blooms for as long as possible.
